Our trash vendor is working extended hours and days to service area residents with their trash disposal. There has been a significant increase in volume due to Hurricane Beryl. There are several communities that have not been serviced due to this heavy volume, 2+ hour waits at the landfill and excessive mud entering and leaving the dump site.

We ask that you be kind to the crew members as they are working extremely long and hard hours to clear our area of debris.

The schedule for trash removal is as follows:

  • Thursday routes will finish picking up today – July 12, 2024.
  • Friday routes will finish picking up Saturday – July 13, 2024.
  • Anything still not collected will be picked up Sunday – July 14, 2024.

Landfills will be open on Sunday to accommodate mounting volumes of debris from the city and county.

This schedule is all dependent upon WEATHER PERMITTING.

Trash must be separated. Household trash needs to be in one area. Yard waste needs to be in another area. Household trash will be the first priority. If trash is mixed, the crew will take the first 8 bags they get to.

District guidelines are as follows:

  • Tree limbs must be no longer than 4′ in length, bundled by twine, rope or tape and weigh NO more than 40 pounds. Absolutely NO branches larger than 4″ in diameter will be collected as they are too large and will damage the mechanisms in the truck bay.
  • NO loose items will be collected. All waste must be bagged or bundled.
  • ONLY 8 bags per home will be collected.** This includes cans, bags and bundles.
  • You may place 8 bags out for each service day. We ask that you exercise patience as we work to collect area waste.
  • NO fencing or construction material will be collected. This is considered construction debris.
  • Large household items such as mattresses, couches, etc. will be collected at a later time.

Please do not place items in the street. This will impede traffic and lose items will clog area drains. Additional rainfall could result in flooding.

We are reaching out to Harris County to inquire about additional assistance for the area.

Updates will be posted as they become available.

We appreciate your patience as we all work to return our community back to its’ high standards.
